Italy – The Mediterranean country remains at the top of the list for having dishes beloved by people of other cultures. The location of Italy is also known for having one of the healthiest diets in the world. Italy is known for pizza. The types include Neapolitan or Roman versions. The Neapolitan-style pizza is smaller and has a thick crust. The Roman-style is larger with a thin, crispy crust. The popular dish is also created using a red or a white sauce. However, typical traditional meals start with a plate of vegetables and cured meats followed by a main meat dish and a pasta side.

China – Dumplings, ramen, spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken and tofu are some of the dishes commonly associated with Chinese cuisine. However, each region of the country is known for signature meals. The Cantonese cuisine of the Guangdong region often includes seafood and rice dishes. The meals are lightly seasoned and often sweet. On the other hand, meals prepared in the Sichuan region are typically spicy. Local cooks use an abundance of chili peppers, garlic and ginger.
